A great week .
Started my new job on Monday. SWEET I am a political activist. Out organizing a our community to support thing like health care coverage by employers and maintaining jobs in Ohio. Keeping our fire and police dept. fully funded. Yeah!!! for making a difference. Even if I am not, I feel like I am.
Saturday.
5:30 am and I am awake standing at the end of my drive waiting for the short bus. Well, not really but i was picked up in a minivan driven by my friend Danielle. She is the first on the left
So we go around picking up the rest of the team. Brian, Chris and Jess. We are scheduled to meet the other three players later.
Grove City. Grove-Tucky. jeebus. Beulah Park for the 26(ish) annual Mud Volleyball tourney.
220 teams (or more) entered paying 300 bucks. Yes that's right we paid vast amounts of cash to wallow in a foot of mud. So after 8hours of sun. mud. water.sweat., grit. beer. We played in the finals against a team of ex-college players. Yup we put a fight, but were crushed, They were great. In fact one of my teammates made the comment "they shouldn't be allowed to hit it like that."they're too good." I laughed.
Second 2nd place is first loser but dammit i got to hoist a trophy
It was much retarded fun. the day ended with us tailgating and heading home. but WAIT there's more. Jess (see above pic. girl in the middle) came over after...she left this morning. PERVERTS
god, i know what you were thinking. No. nothing happened 
But we all did go for a few more hours of beach today. A good weekend!!
Current Addiction- Discovery Channel! Seriously, this is good tv.
Again if anyone wants to offer me a couch for a night. I would be forever thankful so i don't have to commute the 160 miles round trip. DEFINITELY msg me
