St. Patty's Day in Chicago was one for the ages. Started off chill. Ended with getting drunk while seeing Bye Bye Liver at the Gorilla Tango Theatre and making our way through the drunken Chi-town streets getting back to Belmont. Fucking awesome. I'm definately moving here. Over the course of the night I met some skater kids at a liquor store who tried to get me to go with them to a party and hook up with the girl in the backseat of their car. Went to a kickass bar in Wicker Park. Got mobbed by art school kids on the red line. Met the hottest chick ever who was in the show I saw. Had a crazy guy walk up to me like he was gonna kill me, stopped, walked aways, and then proceeded to do it again. Wore a cool green jacket that i won after killing a horde of 36 leprechauns. (ok maybe the last part isn't true). Still one hell of a night.
Then today woke up at noon since i went to bed at 530 and watch the best horrible movie ever. Scooter Kidz. Seriously if you ever get a chance to see this gem, rent it, but watch it with open minded MST3K friends. Hit up Reckless Records and got me some Our Lady Peace albums I didnt have and some old Stabbing Westward. Then went and saw Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind at the NeoFuturists theatre. Amazingly awesome show. See it!!!
I'll be chillin tomorrow at Caribou Coffee on Broadway probably or the Fixx. Get some more music and go see my friend Mike's comedy singing duo the Fruit Stripes perform at The Spot around 10pm.
I love this city.
