suburbia

So I got into Chicago yesterday without a hitch. The flight was on time. We arrived early. I got my luggage without waiting too long. Kinda amazing.

I gotta say this is a beautiful city. I haven't really done a whole lot yet other than hang around the Belmont area. Found a cool coffee bar called The Fixx. Good hummus there. wrote a few more pages of my script.

Im gonna see if i can line up some auditions while im here, which means it looks like ill be staying here a few extra days.

let me tell ya this though. I heard it was cold, but holy shit. Its only 35 or something but my hands were turning purple. I just hope ill be able to make it through the week without becoming a popcicle.

well tonite im gonna see my friend mike's fake emo comedy band, The Fruit Stripes. should be fun.

tomorrow maybe a museum or something.
