I'm trying to scarf down my cereal, type, and fend off the vampire kitten at the moment. AAAHHHH!!!!!
In a minute I will be at my son's school for his end of the year party. I will be providing twinkies and lemonade! I always feel out of place at these things...I adore the kids, and I love to help out, but I can't help but feel like one of the Ab-Fab ladies walking in with a hangover and last night's makeup. OK, no, I'm actually hangover free, and I have fresh makeup on, but hopefully you get the picture. That's how I feel. Yesterday I went to his awards ceremony (he got the citizenship award and another for good grades) and I had only had 2 hours sleep from working the night before, and I didn't even have time to brush my hair. I didn't think anyone else would notice. Turned out I was in a room full of morning people and they DID notice me. Half my son's class was staring and asking him "Is that your MOM???" But he was so sweet, he'd tell them yes and turn and smile at me. Am I ever gonna get used to this? I feel like any minute someone's gonna show up on my doorstep and say, "Ok party's over. We know you're just a kid pretending to be a grownup, so your mom and dad will be here shortly to put you on restriction."
Ohh! Going to the beach on sunday.....
I swear I'll go visit everyone soon and leave comments. It's been a crazy week. Sorry!!
