Yesterday I was at work for about 2 hours when suddenly the men's bathroom exploded and flooded the whole front of the club with toilet water! We had to close until tomorrow, so now that "extra" money I made on sunday has to carry us thru tomorrow. SUCKS. But at least I get a mini-vacation. I was so depressed the last few days and I decided it was the post-holiday blues. I took down all the X-mas dec's and now I feel much better.
I'm happy it's raining today, these 75 degree winters get old after 27 years, ya know? But they say the grass is always greener on the other side...
I borrowed a book from my mom cuz I heard it was so good. It's a best seller at least, which I now know doesn't mean shit. The book is "The five people you meet in heaven" by Mitch Albom. The point of the story is that you may think your life is meaningless, and you've made too many mistakes and not enough progress, when actually everything you do affects other people, and we are all interconnected. Your tragedy may be 10 other people's triumph.
Sounds like a heartwarming story, yes? Well I guess it is except it doesn't make any sense! It goes like this....I get to heaven and I meet the five people in my life, some i met and some I didn't, who made my life what it was. These people all died before me. Well, sometimes one of the most influential people in your life is still alive after you die. So how are they supposed to give their two cents to you when you get to heaven and they aren't there yet? Stupid. Maybe I just know too much about how the afterlife actually is to really get into this shit. Anyway, that's my book review for the week.

It took forever it fealt like for them to accept my set, I think I sent it in in mid August and I was made a suicide girl in late October.....
But, personally, I don't like my set all that much, sooo....
^ I saw the movie on t.v. it was just as hard to understand as the book. I totally believe we are all connected you know like the butterfly effect and what not but i agree with you maybe cause im young but the most influential people in my life are still alive.
