I got over my weekend illness - and I am feeling much better! 
And tomorrow -- I am off to Colorado to visit my mum and stuff my face for an entire 6 days. haha. They'll have to roll me onto the plane back to Philly. haha.

Maybe it's just Boulder. You know, there's some legend about a Native American curse on the area known as Boulder, Colorado. It was such a beautiful, pristine spot, but when the Natives were forced from their land they cursed the settlers that people who left there would be doomed to return and thus increase the population until the virginal state of the area was marred by overpopulation.

I am new to the beach.. never lived by the ocean so I go there alot.. I notice there arent ever many other people there...
I don't think there is a person on this planet who can say that their life has gone the way they thought it would. I am convinced that my life is really just some sick comedy that plays out -- entertaining aliens or other beings or somebody out there -- who is watching and waiting for the next crazy episode.

A tip - if you have any important errands or shopping to do -- go while there is an important football game on TV -- it is the best! While everyone is watching the game (bleh) - you'll have shorter lines, less cars on the roads, smaller crowds... ahhhh....

A tip for everyone: if you have any holiday errnads or shopping to do -- go while there is a really important football game on TV. It is the fucking best! The lines are shorter -- the crowds are smaller - there aren't as many cars on the road --- it's great.
Why are holidays so depressing? Because everyone expects them to be perfect and they never are. So (I say) don't buy into the expectations anymore. If you end up eating a frozen pot pie it really isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.
