Yesterday was my friend Kate's birthday. It was lots of fun. We went to this Italian restaurant and sat at the chef's table. And the food... oh, the food... Salad, garlic bread, chianti, spicy sausage & mushroom pizza, seafood linguine, chicken parmesiano, and chocolate cake. Anyone have Tums? oink

Anyway, Happy Birthday, Kate!

All bow down and pay homage to the Kate!

Where does the energy go?

While I'm sure I'm not the only one on this website to write about this, I can't help but feel a bit depressed lately. I think I understand the reasons well-enough. No girl, Valentine's coming up, shitty weather, friends not acting like friends, etc., etc. And while I'm writing this, I am entirely aware that there are people who have...

people sometimes want to be happy so bad that they make themself miserable cause they aren't as happy as they are suppose to be....if you feel crappy embrace it....stay home and get drunk alone, eat in bed and sleep for hours (naked!!!) ......sometimes you just need to give your brain a rest and let it reset itself

Been striking out with the girls lately. I think I'm too nice. I need to act like more of an asshole, but not too much. I just need to learn to be the kind of asshole that women are drawn to, for some reason. I'm so confused.

Went to the memorial service for Nick, my friend and coworker, last Friday. It hasn't snowed here for a month and that evening it dropped a ton. So much that a couple of people I know couldn't even make it to the service. Weird, weird stuff.

Anyway, afterwards, me and all the people from work went to a bar to toast Nick's memory, share stories,...

I am so bummed right now. I just found out this really cool guy from work died from cancer that he's been battling for about a year. He was one of the nicest, livliest, and coolest guys I knew. Ever since he went on sick leave, work just hasn't been as much fun. And perhaps the worst part is how young he was. He was...

I think I've managed to tick off about half the people I work with this Chirstmas season. I think all the stress of the shopping season turned me from a mild son-of-a-bitch to a full-on asshole.

Maybe we need a really incompetant loser at work that can take the heat off of me. A lightning rod of sorts. Someone whose shortcomings are so obvious and...

An Open Letter to those contemplating working in a mall during Christmas season:

Ahem... DON'T! Are you nucking futs? The only reason I manage to survive the ordeal is that I was blessed with a total disconnection with reality and can leave my body whenever neccesary, leaving only my husk behind. (This is also a nifty trick for when a girl wants to "talk serious...

Went to see the White Stripes in concert a few nights ago! Still feel my teeth rattling. One hour and forty minutes of solid music. Jack even broke about 3 guitar strings. I also met this cute girl who was there alone, and I got her e-mail. But wouldn't you know it? Boyfriend. Damn, I hate when that happens. I think I got a magical...

I'm so excited! In a few days, I'm gonna be seeing the White Stripes live! It'll be right in the middle of an insane work week, and the ticket was none too cheep, but it'll be worth it.

Speaking of work, mine is getting too tense, too hostile. The past few days, by the time I left work, my jaw hurt. Apparently, I had been...
