Do you believe in fate, because I think I am fated not to drive my car.
A few years back, my parents decided to trade in their old car for a new one, but the dealer told them they'd get practically squat for it, so the kept it and sold it to me cheap. At the time, I didn't know how to drive. But I got a license a while ago, so now it's time to get mobile.
It will need repairs, but I can get them cheap cause my brother-on-law's a mechanic. Yay! But before I get it fixed, I want to get it insured. And before I can get it insured, I have to get it registered. So weeks after sending off the paperwork, I got a letter saying I needed to test the emissions. But when I tried to drive it over, it wouldn't start! I think the battery is dead. That wouldn't be a big problem, except I can't get the hood open! The cable for the release is broken. Oy.
