I know I'm like super good about updating on a regular basis. But ya, started my last term at PCC last week, and just heard back from PNCA (Pacific Northwest College of Art) that I got accepted so I'm pretty stoked about life at the moment. Still can't drink but whatever, life could be much worse. I'm enrolled in a Life Painting course right now which is really fun, super challenging but really rewarding. I'm going to start my two online classes in the next few weeks (not really sure when they start up exactly) so I'm pretty excited for those too. They're through an institution called CGMA, and I'm taking their second tier dynamic sketching class where I'll have to sketch on site at zoos and museums throughout the term. Then I'll be finishing up my anatomy studies through their second anatomy class which is an in depth study of the hands feet and face.
I'm going to be double majoring at PNCA for Illustration and Painting, and to help with the money aspect I'm going to start teaching guitar and be playing at the saturday market in the coming months. When I can figure out how to get a decent recording with my stuff I'll post a video to let you guys see what I can do. I've been playing guitar for about 10 years. Before being an Art major, I was a music theory & composition major at PSU took some online production classes through Berkley in Boston. I've been designing a comprehensive course in guitar fundementals and intermediate technique that touches on some basic music theory and history. I'll post a more complete [advertisement] once I get a little more organized, but till then, if you or someone you know wants guitar lessons, keep me in mind.
I'm also getting my first tattoo (finally) on Sunday, so I'm pretty fucking pumped about that too. Going to Atlas in NE Portland.
I'll post a photo once it's done.
