GRRRRR!!!
Today would have been one of those average days if not for something really frustrating. I've been taken a bunch of RPG books into work with me, so I can work on my new campaign (see the resolution), but today some point after I got to work - my can of Coke exploded inside my bag showering them all with a layer of coke. Five books in total, one of which is a paperback that I now believe is out of print.
I think I showed remarkable constraint, bearing in mind I have a mindset that treats books as sacred. For such a tech-head, I thinks it a sin to mistreat or *shock* destroy a book.
I didn't swear (at all). I didn't kick anything out of frustration, and I didn't use this as an excuse to go mental and burn down my old Unit. (BWAHAHAHAHAHA)
Instead. I spent half an hour, frantically wiping away and putting tissue between pages and trying my best to preserve the books. Luckily the hardbacks have escaped with some discolouration to the sides of the pages, but not to the actual pages and a sticky layer of sugar that hasn't seemed to wipe off, so I think that's relatively lucky. My ppor copy of Delta Green hasn't been so lucky. Thankfully it's still usable, but it is now *sob* damaged. The covers curled *snarl*
THankfully one of my friends psychic influences have enabled me to take some time off next week (Wahey). You know you are hun. X
Apart from that, nothing exciting to report.
Until next time. Courage!

Your friend sounds like a very talented erm, ahem *cough* person - I think they might just appreciate a curly wurly for their generosity!
