Spent the evening with my Mom. I am so lucky to get these next 7 days to spend it with her. Her prognosis is not very good and I need this time to mmake ammends for being an idiot for 6 years. We went to Bingo (one of her fave past times) and we had a blast. Her medical bills are so big already and her 18-30 hr surgery is planned for june 16th. She is so broke but she won the jackpot tonight, $5500.00!!!!! Now my Step-Dad can stay in 'the city' with her when she is in the hospital. The first thing she said when she won was just that, "my husband can stay with me now and I can pay my bills!" She cried, I cried, my twin and Auntie cried and we believe that our prayers were answered!!
