i saw something nice today that i really wish we saw more of: people being nice. i was at a stop light and on the corner theres a video rental place. a guy got into his car in the parking lot there and at apparently wouldnt start cuz he got out and started trying to PUSH the car up the downward sloping parking lot. im not sure where he was gonna try to push it to but thats not really the point. anyway, of course he cound NOT push the car, he was just an average guy. but as other people drove in to the place, instead of going in to get a movie like they originally came to do, they walked down and started helping the guy! soon there were 3 people and the car was moving easily. it may seem like kind of a small thing but it just struck me as uncharacteristically GOOD of these complete strangers working together without even saying two words to each other. and this all took place in a span of less than 2 minutes because i was able to observe this all before the light turned green. i dunno. it just made me smile
