ok im gonna geek out and talk about video games for a minute here i just got done playing what is perhaps the best game EVER. it is a well made game but its not great because the gameplay is unique or innovative or anything, but simply for the premise alone. the games called Raze's Hell and the story goes like this: you are this big scary badass alien monster named Raze, and your home planet is invaded by the Kewletts, a race of teletubbies, teddy bears, and pretty much anything disgustingly cute you can thing of. their mission? make the universe a cuter place by killing everything ugly. and we cant have THAT now can we? so you being the super alien killing machine that you are much annihilate their whole army to save your people. it is hilariously violent (you recover health by eating the chunks of meat from the kewlets youve torn to shreds) and distasteful. and these cute lil critters have some of the best lines ive ever heard, be it fowl and offensive (one of them called me a "uterus-head") or just plain funny. like the things they say when they die are priceless, they often arent just little things either, they have whole death speeches. heres one of my favorites (and you have to imagine this in a squeaky "alvin & the chipmunks" voice):
"Oh...the pain...I can feel my life fading away...oh...I see the light! Its so beautiful! Mama? Is that you Mama? Oh hold me in your arms again! ....Wait....wheres the light going?! NO! Not the fire! I want the light back! Oh Jesus no! The fire! The Brimstone! The eternal toooooorrrmeeeent!" *dies*
even if you dont normally like video games, slaughtering teletubbies never gets old heres some pictures:
