yesterday i went out and spent some of my graduation money. mostly video games, but while i was out it occured to me "hey im 18 now, theres a certain kind of store i can go into now that i couldnt before" so i spent a lil money there too.
the biggest thing though, was i finally went and got my very first piercing:
i think it looks really good
my mom was surprised by it but didnt make too big a deal of it. my DAD however....i dont know if he got beat up by a kid with a lip piercing when he was little or what but he was anything but vague about his opinion on it. evidently, having a little sivler bead under my lower lip means that i do not appreciate the good life he has provided for me, and i should have spent that money on gas instead. honestly, my dad and i have never seen eye to eye. hes a very traditional, veeeery conservative, white collar & cubicle guy. and i think hes finally realizing that i am not growing up to be his clone
