where?

Walking down the hallway I could see no end in sight. The walls were an off grey, if there is such a color. The doors lining either side were all locked. At least all the ones I tried to open were. At some point I had stopped trying. The flourescent lights bathed the hallways bare walls in their sterile light. Where was I? What was I doing here? I couldnt remember anything past waking up.

At some point I stopped. Something made me stop and try another door. Why this door? I didn't expect it to open but it did. Darkness. The light from the hallway seeped in along the floor as the door swung open exposing a bright blue carpet contrasting sharply with the dull grey tile of the hallway. I reached my hand in and slid it along the wall inside the room(?) looking for a lightswitch. Nothing. Should I walk through? I looked down the corridor, rows of doors with no end in sight, looked in the other direction from where I had come, and took a step inside.
