Today was probably the shittiest day of work I have ever had. i was this close to giving my two weeks notice and saying to hell with it. Still am but I figure I'll give it the weekend to think about it a bit. I got into a shouting match with the asshole art director, the network was up and down all day long, and they fired another cool person that I enjoyed working with. This place is the most fucked up place I have ever worked at. I'm getting what I wanted though, experience, and that's something.
The unspoken question from yesterday was this: Should I give my two weeks notice? Without another job on the line. I got savings so that don't bother me too much, but it definitely would have pushed me out to Seattle sooner than I expected to be there with no job lined up. Still might. And having no job lined up doesn't bother me too much either. I've always been able to find work and I love a challenge.
Saw Serenity, again. I like that movie. I could expound upon the many reasons but I think I can sum up what it symbolizes to me in one word: freedom.
Anyway, guess we'll see what the weekend brings for Monday.
Nothing ventured nothing gained right?
