I totally understand you about the news. I rarely watch the evening news. I guess my line of work exposes me to a lot of the negatives in society. Guess I have become desensitized to most of what goes on in society, until the girl killed her baby and buried her in a small hole, that one got to me a little bit, yeah even sicker right? But yes we get used to the negatives in society. (unfortunately). So yes if you want to be a writer, journalist, publisher you will have to be able to get used to a lot of bad, and cherish the good.
