So I drive a scooter. It's my only means of getting around other than my feet.
And it wouldn't start this morning. Tried the kick start. Which came off...
So I fixed that. And tried again. I starts and dies. Starts and dies. Which means the engine can't keep up the chemical react to run. Two posibilities. No fuel or no spark. It can kick start, so no fuel problems.
Spark problems. Battery or spark plug. So I pulled out the battery and hiked to the local auto store.
Also, while pulling the battery, I found a fuse was blown, and some tubes were loose.
At the auto store I asked the guy behind the counter if he can test it.
He looks at it and says, "Sorry, I don't know the Cochranes"
Cochranes. I'm a dork, so I know that Cochranes are the unit for Wrap Drives in Star Trek. So as I'm following the guy around getting parts for the pther problems, this guy keeps saying Cochranes.
Finally the manager walks by say says that they can actually test it. I walk over and see the battery tester uses the Cold Crank Amps as the variable for different batteries.
Cold Crank Amps... Say it faster, with an accent. Cochranes.
