Well, this blog must start with an apology. I have made a serious, school boy error. I neglected to check how much charge my camera's battery had and it went dead as I was playing with the settings, so there are no shots of the day time antics. But I digress...
STAG WEEKEND!!!!
So, one of my good friends is getting married in just a few weeks time and he entrusted myself and another of my mates (the best man) to organise his stag do. Both a silly and brilliant idea.
Basically we arranged for a "gentle" introduction to our normal drinking shenanigans on the Friday night. I say gentle because we'd all chipped in for him to take part in a track day the following day. Involving a 6am start. So it was best not get him too drunk or he wouldn't be able to drive.
So Friday, we went out for a curry, had a few beers and went on for a couple more in the local pub. Safe to say he had a sizeable hangover on Saturday morning...
I have no pictures from saturday, as stated above, I failed hard. But then I also had to devise a plan to rescue the best man's car after the engine decided to seize. Being a TVR Cerbera, that's not especially easy - but I managed to get it towed off the circuit and pulled off a massive blag to get it recovered back to the garage he uses. Phew!
The stag night a-proper started when we all got back home. The stag was instantly armed with a cider as soon as he walked through the door and the drinking didn't stop until 5am this morning.
We also put together a devious plan with regard to some fancy dress. I'll let the photo's tell the rest of the story....
The stag!
Only a little bit of drinking...
Still looking relatively sober
Not so much sober
Might've had to hold him up a bit...
Would I be guilty of planning such things with a face like this?
"I'm fine, I'm fine... Just give me a minute...."
Aftermath
Well atleast he took something home with him that night...
