Well...
It's been ages since i've had time to update my journal..
Life's been pretty hectic, works been so busy which is why i haven't updated... i only use the tinternet at work and can't be arsed to sit infront of the computer when i get home, more important things to be doing - i.e going out, havin fun, communicating with people face to face... not to say i don't like chatting to people on SG cos i do i just prefer to do it when i'm getting paid by work!! Cheeky eh..
Anyway it's about a month and a half since i've updated - here's a run down of events!!!
Loads of gigs have been visited... to menttion a few...
Hot Snakes - who totally ruled... met Swami John who's from the band and Rocket from the Crypt / Sultans, totally cool guy, he was really sincere and not up his arse at all which was nice as i consider him to be one of my most admired musicians, he can do no wrong as far as i'm concerned - totally talented!!
Mmmm What else?
Had my good friends the Anti-Maniax over on tour and had them crashing at my house for a bit which was tops, good to catch up and see them - they are all top guys..
Went to see Mastodon, who are tops.. Metaltastic..
Definatley the new Tool.. recommend people check em out!
My best mates The Foamers had the final show ever... which sux, but it was a top night...They played one of the best sets ever.. sad though as i've had the pleasure of touring with them over the 7 years they've been together....and now they are no more
They headlined with support from The Anti-maniax / Five Knuckle / Stockyard Stoics... all top bands and top peolpe, who all ended up coming back to mine with some of the Filaments / a few of No Comply and a few other top people who i've never met, but we rocked the night away after the show in the vacant house next to mine as i thought it wise to keep my manor clean....
Now what's coming up...
Going to see Dillenger Escape Plan this thursday, followed by Lamb of God on Friday, then a record label xmas party on saturday... tip top week... except i've got to take it easy as i nearly died of asthma at the weekend... calm down on the smokes i think...!!
Anyway that's enough for now... try to update more often..
