book to movie adaptations have always had, well... problems. fight club, however, is one of the exceptions. perhaps it is that i am predisposed to appreciate this type of white-boy-angst-themed material. perhaps it is that, in some warped way, i relate to the characters. i dunno. there have been others that have made me jealous of the talent of both the original author and the screenwriter: fear and loathing and adaptation come immediately to mind. what are your favorites?
