Played some music last night and man, I KNEW borrowing my buddy's gear was a bad idea. I already knew that my amp pretty much sucks (I've used his before to amp-envy-inducing results) but yesterday borrowed his bitchin' bass as well. Ugh. Reminds me of the time I went to LA with another friend and had use of his dad's Porche the entire time. Made my 4Runner seem like a total piece of crap. Oh well... the grass is always greener, right?

Interesting that my quote is about greed and all I am talking about is envy and lust. Weird. The greed quote was actually inspired but some work bullshit but that is another story.

Today I am going to the doctor to see what can be done for my knee and while I am there I am going to have him look at my toe as well. Not the one I broke earlier this year but an old injury that still gives me some issues. If they are going to have to cut on my knee, I figure do the toe too. Rehab is rehab, right? Hope I can talk him into that.

And this evening I jet off to OKC to visit my grandma. She lives outside of hell... er, OKC but that is where my plane lands. I haven't been there in probably about 12 years. Since we moved to Colorado I have only been back twice. This will be my third visit. Once every 7 years or so. Trust me when I say that I don't miss that state.
