"90% of everything is crap."

it is windy as a um... let me start over.
the wind is blowing harder here today than a bus load of hookers at shore leave. there, that's much better.
tomorrow is the solstice. i must admit that i really like winter solstice. it marks the point where the days will stay cold but get longer! yea!
(aside) holy crap i think i got stupider over the weekend. i can't seem to type or form a cogent sentence. ok... maybe it isn't so bad... i just used the word "cogent" in an appropriate manner.
so this weekend i worked on the casa on saturday. it took me all day to demo and install new fascia on our eaves. good times. now my hands are hamburger but that is the price you pay for home ownership. i had to "fix" yet another jackassed maneuver perpetrated by the jackass who built our house in the first place. take note, young homebuilders... one should not vent anything directly INTO the eaves. stupid bastard.
sunday, i went skiing for a bit, which was fun, then i took a little napper then i did a little freelance. oh joy.
i am looking forward to a short week and plan to get in some skiing at my home mountain, crested butte. not sure what the conditions are there right now but i always seem to manage good times while exploring all the old haunts. and it will distract me from the family holiday madness which will certainly ensue.
one last question... my brother said to me the other day, "kailey (my new niece) would sure like to meet you." well, i understand the sentiment there but does he really think that a 2-month old actually has any desire to do anything besides eat, sleep and take the occasional dump? just wondering.
did i mention the wind? and the hookers? good.
