for working all weekend, i must say that i had a pretty damned good time. was shooting a "freestyle" camp at a-basin. it was more of a general extreme skiing camp with some additional attention placed on bumps. i was expecting to have to stand at the bottom of some stupid zipper line all day long shooting laps. fortunately, it consisted of much more skiing than i anticipated, which was nice.
what also made it considerably more fun than i imagined was the company. the coaches were all rippers. former us ski team and pro-mogul tour type dudes. keeping up with these alpine dudes while sporting the free-heel made it all sorts of fun. good times.
watched a couple of movies too... i recommend not renting blow up not so good. pleasantville was interesting but kinda dumb. especially the end.
looking forward to more skiing this weekend. i know i have to work one day at least (unfortunately shooting that zipper line stuff i was explaining earlier). also have one night of music planned and a climbing movie to see which a friend of mine made. will keep you posted.
