Yeah everythings fine. And you guys rock!
Yesterday was soo long, but fun. got up at 4 AM to make sure I caught the 6 train, which was late so i could have slept more!!
Had a great day training and running about Middle Office. It's such a good old boys club in some ways. I don't mind it, in fact it entertains me. Some of the guys who trained me wanted to go over and over and over the simple things (that I allready knew). The two girls I trained w/ were awsome and so were the marketers.
My old boss and one of the VPs also took me out for drinks. Very fun, I love NY bars, they're so long and narrow.
It's funny every time I go to NY I spend a bit in the subway before emerging. The entire time I'm underground I kind of have this humm in my blood. As soon as I get out and above ground I feel like I'm where I belong. It makes me a little nostalgic. Part of it is I love NY, most of the jobs I want are in NY (or Chicago). And a part of it also is when I stayed there for 3 months training, things were stressful down here, but up there was far enough away, everything was fine! I kind of still feel the same everytime I go, I'm far enough away from everything that's stressing me. And I just feel revived, and that feeling will last for awhile.
On a funny note
I fell asleep on the train back to Del and missed my stop. Abgitatz and another friend of ours had to come down to Baltimore to pick me up. Then we got lost in Balitimore (by this time it was 3 AM and I'd been up for nearly 24 hours w/ almost no food)
Anyway we got lost in the ghetto and met a really cool cop, CAR 155 rocks. But for the rest of that story you'll have to check out Abgitatz.
