High atop the myriad of reasons why I love Denver is the tremendous music scene, local or not. I was fortunate enough to catch tremendous shows on both Saturday and Sunday nights by 16 Horsepower and the mighty Throw Rag respectively.
The latter of these acts hails from here, and although they tour frequently in Europe, they rarely plays US gigs outside of Denver.
If you dif Nick Cave, Tindersticks, Dirty Three, Tom Waits, or Bob Dylan, this will be right up your alley. Those of you in Chicago, Cleveland, Philly, or NYC should do yourselves a favor and catch them on this rare tour:
