I can't believe this term is coming to an end so fast. It seems like just yesterday that I moved into my house, but now I am one paper and two exams away from this year being half over. Christmas is fast approaching, but I have no desire for any gifts really, just some time away from school is enough...and a new winter jacket would be nice too I guess haha.
Anyway, how has everyone been? I don't even know why I ask really, nobody posts on my blog...but maybe that is because I rarely ever leave anything worth posting about. There really is not that much new in my life. As usual, I just fall into routine once school starts, go to class, come home, play some video games, do some work and probably smoke a joint before bed. I throw in the occasional party to mix things up, although I am not much of a "party guy" and I am generally uncomfortable around large groups of people (which are two facts about me that my roommates don't seem to understand).
Oh well, come 2008 I think I am going to mix things up a bit. First off, I am giving up red-meat. I thought about going completely vegetarian, but I just don't think I am quite ready for that but I do feel that this is a pretty big step towards a healthier and possibly more fulfilling life. Also, I think I am going to start writing more, maybe posting some drafts on here for people to critique. If I really want to develop my creativity I need to develop a thick skin, which is one thing I definitely don't have yet. Hopefully the new year will bring me better luck with the ladies. Its been awhile since I have even gone on a date (I haven't been with a girl since I broke up with my last girlfriend in '06), but first that means developing more confidence because I know I am not a terrible looking dude (I'm no Brad Pitt, but I am no Elephant Man either) and if I tried I could meet someone, its just a matter of going out and doing it.
I am thinking about getting a new tattoo sometime around my birthday in February too. I don't know what yet though. I thought about getting Anti-Flag's "gunstar" logo, because it looks cool and would be thematically similar to my first tat. However, I think band related tattoos are probably one of the biggest no-nos when getting a tat (maybe second only to a lover's name), so I am totally up for suggestions if anyone has any.
I have one last think I'd like to ask before I go: Should I get a haircut?
I just took this photo now. I find my hair is getting long, some people say its alright others say its bad. So some more opinions would be nice. Just ignore the beard. I know my facial hair is sketchy right now, but I am in a pact to not shave or trim my beard until exams are done...also, as you can see from the background, my room is a fucking mess. As work builds up, cleaning goes down. You know how it is, I am sure.

I know what you mean about school...i'm 3 exams away from freedom. I haven't felt this good in a long time because of it!
Gotta be honest, the anti-flag tattoo sounds wicked. I usually agree with the no band tattoo route, but seeing as it's not a very identifiable symbol (not like a chilli peppers tattoo or something..no offense people) it is totally doable. Plus, it's fuckin' cool.
Also, good on you for new years resolutions. I made a list last year for the first time and i'm only 2 or 3 shy of completing it (there were 15 in total).
Nice to hear from ya
