Okay, so I just got back from see The White Stripes in concert...IT WAS AMAZING!
The opening band (or artist I should say), Dan Sartain, was really good. I'm not gonna go out and buy his CD or anything, but his music complemented The Stripes really well. So by the time the show finally got underway everyone was ready to roll. Jack and Meg walked out on stage and blasted Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground and then went into Icky Thump. My memory of the set list goes hazy after that, but they played alot of older stuff from their first two albums, I remember that much. Anyway, they played a loooong ass set, Jack White was sweaty as fuck by the end of it and then went off stage.
They came back for the encore and played six songs, I can't remember them all but they included I Just Don't Know What to do With Myself, We Are Going to be Friends and Seven Nation Army...
wow, this entry is really poorly writen, but I could care less because I am still so pumped from that goddamn concert.
Anyways, I gotta work at 8am so I should hit the hay. Hope all you out there are doing just fine though.
