A local, recently reinvented, radio station is counting down their "107 Alternative Albums That Matter." So I'm driving tonight and they are playing the Sex Pistols: Nevermind the Bollocks. I'm like, 'Kick ass!'"
We interrupt this rant for an aside: Why is it that even if you have a CD, you are happy when they play it on the radio? It's like a movie you have on DVD and have seen 50 times, but somehow it's cool when it's on TV.
OK, back to the action. I'm thinking, wow, they must be at the end. They break, and the guy says it is album No. 22. Twenty-two!!!!????!!! There are 21 albums more important to alternative music than Nevermind the Bollocks? I can think of like three that would even deserve to be in the fucking discussion!
The saving grace is that the voting was done by listeners, most of whom are 15-year-olds who have never heard anything but "God Save The Queen."
I wasn't in the car much longer, but I heard Green Day was the next album. Look, I like Green Day OK, but to put them in the history books next to the Sex Pistols? Are you out of your fucking mind? I think I want to kill someone.
Go see "Million Dollar Baby." Just go. Or I'll kill you.

Yeah, 107.7 does a good job sometimes, and bad others.... I think we like it when a song/album/movie comes on because it reminds us of how good it is!
Yeah I know the station, It is sad that Sex Pistols were only at 22 whats worst is the no one song well probably be some sucks asses like Sum41 or Blink 182.
