I was thinking of Braveheart when I left the theatre. I did not want it to end, I wanted to see the last battle! Apacolypto is something like that. I did not want it to end. It is a great adventure film. After seeing Braveheart and the Passion, even if I did not know it was a Gbison film, I would have recognized it as his style. Fantastic film.
Only that the Celtic boards have been buzzing about it for the last few days and he's "the new Hagi". It worked well for Petrov, so he may indeed sign. My mate, who works in BBC Sport Scotland, is trying to find out some more about him, so if I hear I'll let you know.
I just spent 11 hours in the library with more to come when I wake up early tomorrow. Sigh. At least this shite will be over in about a week and I can start Winter Break a week early.
In other news I plan on trying to get a Wii this week, I need to order some more absinthe for our Education class bar crawl... Read More
Thanksgiving break officially starts now. One week early. I some how got free from a week of schoolwork, and it seems the other thirty classmates I have at least have till the rest of the week.
I'm so pumped its finally here, as Thankgiving pretty much signals the end of school, since from now on its broken up all the time by different breaks here... Read More
Well, ROB wanted to get out of Dallas, and Toronto was where he wanted to go. But there is no way FCD was going to let him go for nothing. This trade was worked out for a while, and we knew it was gong to happen when TFC passed on taking a player from FCD, a team loaded with talent. ROB is incredibly talented, but disappears at times, and soemtimes does not play hard.
Adrain Serioux is Canadian, and did say he wanted to play closer to home. Now he is 250 miles closer. Mo Johnston does not like him, though. It is questionable wheater he wants to play in Dallas, but I think he had to be consulted.
Serioux is fine, a second round draft pick is fine, passing on FCD players is fine, but taken all together, Toronto got the better deal. We should have gotten an allocation.
After my teaching experience this morning at a local high school...the weekend is finally here.
My actual week consisted of a horrific amount of work and an all nighter at the ed library. After that it eased off with Wednesday's 25 cent wing night at Coaches' and pool at Cue Billards in Bloomington on Thursday. I had the bad luck to go 2-4 in team... Read More
Well, Tommy G has still to prove he can do it in the big games - if he puts in decent shifts against ManUre and Copenhagen I'll start to feel better about his transfer. Three good goals, though, and a now 15 point gap in the SPL. We just need CL qualification to round off a perfect first half of the season.
I am gonna do my apartment hunting online most likey. Its probably not as efficient but I cannot afford to go out there. I can but it will set me back to much money.
I'm currently in the 28th consecutive hour of my "mason's finally gone" celebratory one-man party.
Now I'm off to work some santeria to get Dungy out of Indy and back in Minnesota. Wish me luck.
Happy new year.
