We are under a "Winter Storm" warning.
Really it should be a "pissing down rain creating slush warning". I had hoped that snow would lead to some of the cancelation of my classes today. The hysteria of the Indiana media (remember, a lot of this state is the pseudo south and is frightened by snow) made one of my classes cancel last night.
I still had the one before it today though meaning I had to get up earlier.
Its worth it though, since its the only class I like and we are finally talking about Croatia after we finished with Serbian literature today. I don't know how many of you are familar with Slavic literature, but some of the stuff we've read so far is insane. From the erotic to incredibly violent, stuff I wouldn't equate with more victorian societies but more modern day literature. Its quite good, and I plan on reading most of the translated versions.
Anyways, Indiana won't close the school ever, and the only time in recent history they closed it was -60F to -70F and they still held classes until 200 kids got frostbite and threatened to sue, and they finally closed down so its nice to have teachers this semester who will cancel if the weather is bad, after all no one wants to drive/walk/wait for the bus in that shite.
Here's hoping my Art Appreciation class tonight gets cancelled again, as I'd rather stay in and do fuck all or perhaps catch up on some reading. My goal of 50 books a year is still intact, but I've got to get going on it.
I hope all of you have a good week. Its finally set in for me that Celtic resume Champions League play next Tuesday and I'm fucking pumped. I hope CyberEdz and some of the other Scots ended up getting tickets.

Just a little piece of general advice: Moving is a soul sucking experience. Three, four boxes maximum. A book of matches and some gasoline for the rest. Keeps the mind clear. Maybe I should find a way to express that in haiku to give it more snap.
Take it easy, sir. I am crawling in to a book for the weekend.
