It begins...Celtic vs. Manchester United
Tuesday means one thing, two of the most supported clubs in the world meet up again in the Champions League this season, this time in Glasgow.
The first leg went to United in a 3-2 win with some controversy and this leg will most likely determine Celtic's future in Europe this season. A win almost secures passage to the knockout stages and a loss almost destroys all chance of progressing.
I'll spare all the hype. I'm going to drive up to Ann Arbor tomorrow to watch this with some friends so if you are in the neighborhood and want to watch give me a call otherwise for all you Americans out there the game will be shown LIVE on ESPN2 at 230pm(est). I suggest you watch what will be one of the biggest CL games this season.
I hope there are more Celtic goals and less Giggs diving/getting the softest penalty ever in this one. On a side note...Artur Boruc is a close runner up for best goal celebrations...who's #1 you ask?
The berserker himself, the great dane, Thomas Gravesen. After his poor match in his 2nd game for Celtic against United earlier this year, he'll be ready to redeem himself and his recent form shows that he probably will. If he scores today, I fear for everyone who will cross his path during the goal celebrations.
'mon the Hoops.
Boston on Wednesday.
