some of the actors are from Boston, like Wahlberg and Damon, so i know they can pull it off. It seems to me though that people who never had the "accent" can't really fake it, or maybe it's jsut those of us who hear it all the time just can tell the real from the fake much better

I liked it. I thought Mark Wahlberg's character was awesome and the story for a whole was pretty tight.
