If you've noticed there is a common theme here....history and boxing. Two of the best things to read on, and they can definitely go hand and hand in many instances. The sport of boxing is one of the few that can describe the life and times of people and civilizations throughout history.
Anyways, I got all these because I needed to get some new books for my european trip in five days. A lot of the history stuff such as the writings of Thomas Paine and A People's History of the USA are for content knowledge in terms of teaching. I also have a great interest in the insights into America that they provide, should be good.
If any of these books are stunning I'll see if I can review them when I get back. Chances are, I'll forget and not do that.
If any of you have read these, please give me your thoughts on them.

"Tarver has to be the worst Rocky opponent ever.
He aint even ripped and he has got a head like a bean, plus he is a light heavyweight. What were they thinking getting that tool to be a opponent."
