That will be me this summer...minus the snow...and minus the actually getting tickets to a game and being in the stadium.

The World Cup plans are still taking shape, at the moment it looks like we will be flying into Italy at the end of May or beginning of June and then making our way up into Germany during the tournament.

I am trying to somehow work Iceland into the trip, but I may have to put it off until next summer. I've always dreamed of taking a trip to Iceland and Greenland in which I would go on a tour and see Narwhals, but that's another story.

Our plans on getting tickets fell through because FIFA are assholes, and we can't really go through any other means so we are out of luck at the moment.

Still, it will be a blast to be supporting the United States while watching the matches on huge TVs in the central squares of German cities.

In other news, I gave in and bought the Showtime pack on cable. Mainly for boxing as there are a ton of fights this weekend, any decent movies are the added bonus.

I've got a TON of work to do this weekend including an entire teaching portfolio and 3 different speeches... on the same day. I hate doing work. Spring break, and more importantly St. Patrick's Day need to get here already.
