To stay in Bloomington, or to go "home" this weekend. That new home being Columbus, Ohio.
I haven't even seen my new house yet.
Part of me really wants me to go and see my Mom, since she's been pretty lonely lately after living in hotels for 7 weeks due to work, and the other part of me says I want to stay here this weekend and do fuck all.
Columbus isn't far, maybe 3 hours and change, but I have the Minnesota trip looming over me. That's 30+ hours of driving right there, which seems to be the usual for me over Thanksgiving breaks.
Ever since High School, my family would make the trek to Boston, usually flying but since I almost died twice on two different flights, I've grown a HUGE aversion to flying, and since my Aunt, Uncle and cousins drive every year I would just tag along with them.
To show you my trip a usual Thanksgiving would be like this:
Monday night: Bloomington to Detroit usually 5-6 hours
Tuesday 5am: Detroit to Boston- 14-16 hours
Saturday morning 5am: Boston to Detroit 14-16 hours
Sunday morning/afternoon: Detroit to Bloomington 5-6 hours.
That will wear you out big time. The fact I usually burn out the first two weeks of college doesn't help either.
Minnesota is going to be just as long, if not longer and I'll be driving by myself.
I might as well stay here this weekend, and enjoy doing nothing for awhile longer before next Friday afternoon when I drive forever up to Northern Minnesota.
Is anyone else doing anything for thanksgiving?

cecelia:
I am definitely going to the game. So watch for me on ESPN I know they don't NEED the win, per se, but I'd love to have them go to a big bowl game. No Rose Bowl, but whatever.
