I have just had one of the best 36 hours ever.
Have a brief (my brain is a bit mashed) story with a few pictures for illustration purposes.
Traveled back home briefly yesterday with my northern burd then onwards on the train to Glasgow where we enjoyed Pimms o'clock

Absolutely delightful way to start any evening of adventure and wonder.
One arriving in sunny(ish) Glasgow we catch up Cookie, back to hers briefly for Cherry Lambrini and banter then onward to the SECC for the one and only Prodigy. Unfortunately missed Dizzee as lambrini consumption was more important (seen him twice anyway) caught some of Noisia but I feel the beats although good were lost somewhere.. perhaps on the audience, perhaps in a place the size of SECC (last time I saw them it was in a tiny venue with about 200 folk max.. that's how you do filthy dnb to be honest). So we went to the bar bought some booze, some of which ended up all over me.. but hey I got a triple gin with the tiniest dash of tonic so nae complaints.
Enough drink chat.
There was prodigy! They opened with World On Fire. And they were rather good.
Look.
I even took a photo where you can vaguely make out Keith

Rahaha!
We had a rather good time indeed

Sunglasses on, bringing the rave.
It's a shame the idea of bringing the rave was lost on a lot of the crowd. People just seemed to jump as if they were at some sort of rock gig. Imagine just jumping up and down on the spot for over an hour to the Prodigy. This is not sensible behaviour.
Fear not.
We had the moves.
Even managed to scam a lift back to Livingston at the end of it all. Windewinwinwin.
Today was grand also. Went to Wagamammas for dinner before driving back oop North. Even the journey home was class. Around about Dundee we tune in to one of the local stations who have a competition to win a Flo(w?)rider cd if you can guess what the link is between these 4 singers. Alanis Morrisette, Avril Lavinge, Bryan Adams and Nelly Furtardo. They are all canadian being the answer. We guessed it by artist number 2. Nobody is getting the right answer in anger we phone 'em to put the poor presenter out of his misery (only it was like a seriously low IQ quizcall). Hoorah we won! He was told to burn the CD in our honor.
Alas we were out the signal range by the time he read out our names as the winnaaahh!
Still gave me a giggle.
Stingin'
!
I need to reformat this macbook, the stress of opening photoshop to resize those pictures nearly killed the both of us.
