OK time for a new blog...
Nothing much has happened in the past month worth blogging about really, other than my 2wks down to see my mum and the kids (for those of you not in the loop, my half siblings are 7, 9, 12 and almost 14) which was great. It was so good to get away from the stress of looking for work, even if the flight down did give me a massive head cold (which I proceded to give to the youngest). But hey, meant me an my little sis could still have lots of cuddles, since we were both sick. Cuddles always help when one is sick, I've found.
I also made an amazing discovery on my last day there. My brother, who's 12, is mildly autistic but loves his hugs (he'll sneak up and ambush hug me, or give me a "force hug" from across the room, or just randomly come up for a hug). He's also very much a geek in the making, loving nothing more than Star Wars, Lego, Star Wars Lego, or even better, original Star Wars Lego. So when I asked him for a hug between levels of Sonic Colours, which he was playing on the Wii, I wasn't surprised to recieve an awesome hug, lasting some minutes. I was, however, surprised when I noticed he'd started playing it again without me noticing, and even more so when he defeated whichever boss it was WITHOUT COMPROMISING HUG QUALITY!!!! So there you go, proof that some males can indeed multitask
I got back a week ago now, and pretty much since then have been in lots of pain, exhausted, and looking like a chipmunk due to an infected tooth. Went to the doc to get antibiotics, and when I got to the pharmacy the lady tried to sell me a $30 bottle of probiotics, so I said "I think I have some at home" then went and bought the most delicious organic probiotic yoghurt for $6. I figured since I'm restricted to soft foods, I may as well "kill two birds with one stone" as the saying goes. It's much better today, but if you see me in chat, don't be a dick and make me laugh on purpose. Laughter may often be the best medicine, but not when one has a sore face
Well that's about it from me, still looking for work, waiting to hear back from a coupla places, really hope I get something asap.
Love you all
