I don't blog a lot on this site, but I thought I'd share a event in my life that seems to offer insights into current events. I've been licensed Concealed Carry in Texas since 1996 and for 16 years I'd thankfully never had any reason to draw my weapon before October of 2012. The old saying goes, "you never need a handgun, until you need...

Unfortunately it has happened in the past and until a few years ago. I just hope it is not a losing battle right from the start.
Having a cute face and a body that sucks to the pigs is not nice. I'm still working on it.

I just read a news story about SG Olivia Black (Belladonna) being fired from the cast of Pawn Stars due to her association with Suicide Girls. The article described SG as a "Soft Porn" site. What a crock of feces!!

This story in the news today struck me as INSANE!!!! Electrical Crews from Alabama who rushed to assist East Coast residents devastated by Hurricane Sandy were turned away, because they were non-union. Four million people suffering without power and the unions turn away help that drove a thousand miles to get there.

Just wondering, where is Oprah? Has anyone seen or heard anything from her? In 2008, she was everywhere campaigning for Obama and he appeared on her television show several times, but this time around, the silence is deafening. In April, she did an interview on the Charlie Rose show during which she confirmed her support for Obama, but also stated she would not be campaigning...

This little insight on history is for all my young friends who weren't alive, or old enough to remember the events of 32 years ago. This year at the Democrat National Convention, Bill Clinton the Patriarch of the DNC gave a speech in his best quivering voice, exhibiting his trade mark lip bite as he assured the American people that Barack Obama had inherited the...

Here's Your New Vocabulary Word For The Day: Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc'-ra-cy) - a system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

I've been hearing a lot about who pays what tax rates these days and are these tax rates fair? The propaganda being put out by the President and parroted by the Main Stream Media is that the average American pays a 30 percent tax rate, while the rich only pay 15 percent. Is this true? Well, I decided to go the the IRS and find...

Once upon a time, a Prince asked a beautiful Princess, will you marry me? The Princess said NO, and the Prince lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and nailed skinny, big boobs girls and hunted and raced cars and went to naked bars and dated women half his age and drank whiskey, beer, and Captain Morgan and never heard bitching and never had to...

Lol OK fine maybe I was being a bit uptight. And I wasn't actually going to take offence until I read your blog and then I was like: 'right, He's taking the piss. I'm going to tell him off now.' But then you made me laugh with your last comment about the British sense of humor...so all is forgiven. Bloody Americans...meant in jest obviously wink. friends?
leucothea:
I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. That's pretty heavy, man. An incredibly difficult blow to deal with. Obviously, I understand where you're coming from a lot more now. You're right, it shouldn't be something that is rushed into at all...especially at the age of 21. But there are many reasons why I am confident that I am making the right decision. Besides...I still have more than a year to contemplate it before the deed is done. I'll remember to let you know how it goes. Well thanks for reminding me that jumping on ones high horse (I've always had an annoying inclination to do so) is usually not the best idea. I always wish hat I hadn't afterwards.

This is a commemorative blog I wrote four years ago after my wife's passing. Even if you don't know me, this blog tells just a little of a remarkable woman's life. It was pure chance that brought us together and that's what makes it all the more an incredible story.

It was 26 years ago. My roommate Danny, and I had come home on a...
