Oy vey! Today has just been one hurry-up-and-wait after another, and I feel a bit like a cranky, fussy baby that's been forced to stay awake waaaay past her bedtime!

Just got back from the CD101 show at PromoWest. The Dresden Dolls kicked major fucking ASS, man! They did a bang-up cover of Black Sabbath's "War Pigs". Brian Viglione is the ONLY drummer I've ever seen that really gives the great Neil Peart a run for his money! (And this while miming!)
After their set, they signed things at their merch table. I got the centerfold of the CD booklet signed, so I can easily remove it to mat and frame it.

The Dolls are opening for NIN this spring, and if they come within a reasonable distance (Cleveland, Cincy, Pittsburgh, Indy) - I am there! I also need to check for U2 - I believe they're coming around in October or November.

I've decided on the I-Pod mini, though I'm torn between silver or blue for the color. I also found out that it's possible to get the 4GB version for less than $200, now that they have a 6GB that sells for about $260. One more round of end-of-month overtime pay could get me there!
