My boyfriend got me a gift membership to SG a few weeks ago, but I've only just gotten round to doing my profile. I've been otherwise engaged in things like a JOB SEARCH. I've had a few promising prospects, but no offers. It's been very frustrating and discouraging.
I've decided to step back a moment to reevaluate my goals and focus on the "inside job", otherwise what's making me so miserable at my current job will follow me right to my next one.
This is the first year I've really been out on my own, making my own living and paying my own bills. Even though I've had a fucking hell of a hard time, I am proud of myself for having the gumption to give up the comfort, familiarity, and financial security of my parents' house.
Yep, it's called "What Really SUCKS About Being in Your 20's".

Anyway...my love of overcast skies is one thing that convinces me that I must have been British in a past life. A rainy day, sitting by the window with a good cup of tea, reading Harry Potter...Oooooh yeah!! This is the life! I love this time of year, too. The fall foliage is SO BEAUTIFUL, and the gas stations have Pumpkin Spice cappucino! Mmmm!
Well, in a couple of hours, I'll be taking a walk down to Borders to meet a very good friend for a spot of coffee. (Pumpkin Spice Chai pour *moi*!)
