Last week was terribly busy, and terribly insane...
Had a horse almost die, sooo scary... helping the vet pump liquids and mineral oil into his stomach, through a tube thats put in through the nose and down the throat, into the stomach... it was one of our vets new associates... she fucked up... made the horses nose bleed...so I'm standing there, holding the tube so it doesnt slide out....while the horse is hacking, and snorting, and blood is spraying and pouring all over... it wasnt a pretty scene... I suggested the horse be sedated, before we started... (would you stand still for someone to shove a rubber hose up your nose and down your throat??) but this vet is "against" sedation, unless it is absolutely necessary... so in the midst of all the bleeding and such, I lost it...
DO YOU THINK ITS FUCKING NECESSARY NOW??????
needless to say.. the new vet doesnt like me very much... and I sent an email to the main vet of the practice, who's worked on my horses for 14 years now... explaining my reasons for not wanting this woman to work on my horses anymore.
I know my horses, I know what they will and won't tolerate... but the bitch refused to listen... so... we end up with what looked like a murder scene in the horses stall...
in the end, the horse was ok... we're still keeping an eye on him, but he's going to be fine... poor thing.. I feel bad he had to go through such an ordeal...
Saturday night, and sunday were very relaxing, and much needed.... thank you <3
Hoping for a better week, although it wasnt off to a very good start.... some people just suck at life... the roommate and his kid are home from FL... no more peace n quiet....
thats enough for now... later kiddies...

The festival was awsome, 7 stages means lots of walking. But it was good. Bad Religion and The Pixies were my favs.
Hows the horse doing, still ok I hope
