So, I'm kinda bummed cause I totally missed the SGPDX party last night. My date ditched me at the last minute and I think I have SARS. Maybe not SARS but I have been coughing up a storm!
My pa was in town today and we hung out. It was fun. I still haven't told him I'm a phone sex operator or that I stopped going to school. He knows that I want to go to make-up artist school in LA in a year and a half and that I'm trying to save for that, but he thinks I'm finishing at P.C.C. first. Oh well. I hate keeping things from him. I know he'll be supportive but I just don't want him to be dissapointed with me. I mean, I know I'm doing great things and I'm not ashamed of any of my choices. I just, I don't know, it's hard. I'm just afraid he'll react all crazy like my mom did. Then again, he's not the crazy raging bitch that my mom is. She was sort of the tester for the phone sex "confession". I don't care what she thinks so it was super easy to "come out" to her about it.
I'm finishing this book right now called Cavedweller. It's by the author of Bastard Out Of Carolina, Dorothy Allison. She's really amazing... I just finished Bastard Out Of Carolina last week. I want to read all her books. I'm just sort of starting to read more again. I used to read tons of stuff all the time and then I just felt like I was too busy for it. But it feels so good to be reading good books again.
So I might not be around for a few days cause I'm super broke and can't pay my $9 membership fee that's due tomorrow, until Monday when I get paid again. So, don't worry, keep me on your friend lists, I'll be back soon. I'm incredibly busy this week anyways with FatGirl Speaks stuff. (http://www.fatgirlspeaks.com) It's this coming Saturday and there's still so much to be done! I have a meeting every night this week except today. Aaaahhhh!!! Ya'll should come though, anyone who's close enough. It's going to be amazing!
Oh, and we did find someone to move in, my housemate's girlfriend is taking the room and she's really rad so it'll be great! Yay!!!
