so...i just got a ride to school from the former vp of fox.

yes, i'm an engineer...how do i end up in these situations?

everything is pretty heavily charged in the air today - whether it's b/c it's the start of a new quarter, or because i just had the single most important research meeting yesterday with our sponsors (big pharm men with the big money...eek), or b/c the bf just promoted his first show...OH SPEAKING OF.

this is funny.

so the boy promoted a show for this guy, whose name will go unstated except i will say it rhymes with mason phebley. this guy is a klesmer accordian & guitar player and has a really dark edge to his music. i'd hate to compare him to tom waits just because the guy gets it so often but well he's a little like tom waits but not really. at any rate he brought with him a puppeteer group. mind you the show had families (ie children) present...and the artists, being unwilling to compromise their acts at all left in the sex and death.

needless to say the owners of the space freaked out and announced an intermission...
