Cover: I.W
Obstacle: XX (Judgement)
Crown: XXI (The World)
Foot: VII.W
Moving from: XIX (The Sun)
Moving into: VII.S
Attitude: K.W
Environment: V.C
Hopes/fears: II (The High Priestess)
Future: 0 (The Fool)
The situation at hand is the awakening of insight (I.W). The querant has already taken his stand (VII.W), but is is aiming for perfect conciousness (XIX - The World). It seems that his progress to date (XX - Judgement) is hindering, rather than helping, his present endeavours.
The next two cards seem to have a particularly Buddhist interpretation: XIX (The Sun) representing attachment to the material and sensual; and VII.S concerning victory (seven) over the sense-world - the card depicts a figure carrying away five of the seven swords, possibly the five senses [2].
The querant's own attitude (K.W) may be an acknowledgement either of his satisfactory foundation (the previous VII.W) or of the obstacle (XX) of thinking his work is already done. His environment (V.C) dwells on past losses - the spilled cups - rather than present opportunites: a change of perspective is called for. However, he fears to really 'go there' (II - The High Priestess - internal knowledge). Perhaps what's required (0 - The Fool) is for his "soul [to go] in search of experience" [1].
