Listenin' to some Bran Van 3000 "Glee". I'm getting nostalgic for a simpler time when all I did was skip high-school classes, (the one year I went to public high-school) smoke pot, and hang out with friends.

Pete & Jen came over last night. She brought her Sony Camcorder so we could watch a couple of tapes I made a few years ago (2000.) It was so weird seeing them.

I have footage of my friend, Chris, and I on our roadtrip to Florida, where we went to see an old friend. We stopped at my sister's house in Virginia, completely unannounced, in the middle of the night. I hadn't seen her for a couple of years and I wanted to surprise her. The look on her face was priceless. I never saw those tapes before because Chris & I ran out of money on the trip and I had to pawn the camera for fifty bucks.

Nate, the friend in Florida, had a pet tiger. He worked at an exotic animals zoo, so we got to see all sorts of trippy animals and we pet a rare breed of leopard. It was just like an oversized kitten. Sooo cute.

There was tape of my friends trying out a gas mask with a bowl hooked up to it. It was funny watching the eye-holes fill up with smoke, though one try was enough, thank you very much. I don't smoke very often anymore. I have a problem with my nervous-system, so it can fuck with my head nowadays.

Tape of a couple horrible parties I went to. Drunken assholes & drama queens = bad times. Fun to watch, in retrospect, if only to laugh at.

I've been compiling my mix CD for the swap here at SG. I missed out on the first two, so I'm looking forward to this.

Status Quo remains the same with slight changes made every day.
