A couple of politicians have proposed legislation that would make file-sharing a crime with a penalty of $256,000 and up to five years in jail. That's totally reasonable (see the sarcasm seeping between the letters?). I have this image in my head of some college student whose computer is filled with nu-metal and bubble-gum-pop getting five years in jail for music that was barely worth the time he spent downloading it.
I went to a party at my friend Chris's the other day. It was like a reunion of sorts. I went with Dan, but Pete, Jen and two other friends that I haven't seen in a while (Jacob and Tim) were there as were some of Chris's friends from UMass. It was very nostalgic. Excluding Jen and the college kids, this was my core group of friends since I was 11. We're rarely together at the same time, now, which just sucks. I'm putting (crap webcam) photos of these people on here.
What's your favorite band that you've just started listening to in the past month? Mine's Single Frame Ashtray. Listen to the .mp3 samples on their site. I'm enamored.
