We've all heard the stories about men (and some women) being so persistent in communicating with a potential date that it becomes more of a nuisance than a legitimate attempt at communication. Where is that point of no return? Yeah, I know, ask 5 people and you'll get 20 answers and each person has their own line and none are in the same place. Side note - this is one of the many reasons why I haven't dated very much.
There is a fine line between persistence/annoyance/perceived lack of interest. If you ask too little, it looks like you aren't interested. If you ask too much, it's desperation at it's worst and gets annoying. The Drake Equation (N = R*fpneflfifcL.) to determine the number of active communicable alien species in the Milky Way seems easier to figure out than this, and I'm no astrophysicist. But somewhere in the middle, where all answers are found IMHO, is the answer.
What are your thoughts on this?
Yeah, dating sucks for an overthinker.
