HOLY SHIT.
Prepare for much words, my friends.
My journey started at 4:00am. Way too early for my lazy butt! Haha. My fight left at 8:40am and we had to get ready and transit all the way to the airport. I ended up being super early, but it was okay for multiple reasons.
1. I got featured on the Suicide Girls INSTAGRAM! I was so happy to see that! Thanks so much for featuring me ladies <3 It was the start to a great trip!
2. I got to meet Jamie Lee Curtis. No fucking joke. You guys know that I am a huge horror movie fan, and if you couldn't guess Jamie Lee Curtis is one of my idols. I love her so much, like, I can't even tell you...
Here's the backstory- I walked into my gate and sat next to these two lovely middle aged women. I was looking on my phone, and saw that SG featured my photo. I was SO stoked, so obviously reading the comments and everything, and then I see this woman walk in front of me. I still wasn't really paying attention, but she sounded familiar. Then I looked up from my phone, made eye contact, she said "Hello!" and smiled at me, and I thought I was going to have a shit right there in my seat. Omg. She finished up her conversation with the ladies, and then turned to leave when I quickly asked, "Excuse me, but could I please have a photo with you?" she said "Yes! Of course! Give me your phone, I'll take it!" and she took a selfie with me.
Jamie Lee Curtis took a selfie with me. My heart is happy.
But here is the cool thing- the reason she was at my gate was because the two ladies that had been sitting behind me were in the lounge talking with her before leaving for their gate. Apparently she walked up to them and exclaimed, "You look just like my best friend! I have to take a photo of you!" and then she sat down and talked with them for awhile. When they all parted ways, one of the ladies accidentally had left her wallet behind at the lounge. Jamie Lee Curtis came all the way to the gate to give her the wallet! I know a lot of people wouldn't do that, never mind a celebrity.
Then I got off the plane and @darryldarko picked me up from the airport! We went to drop my suitcase off at @toxic 's place before going out to get some coffee/tea.
I can't even begin to thank her for letting me stay with her and showing me around Portland! We had so many fun adventures in the short time I was there. She is the sweetest and makes me laugh- I swear we were separated at birth. Never have I ever met another person who sings their own theme song while doing random tasks throughout the day! Personal theme songs are the bomb diggity. I loved being able to share my weird Canadian ways with her--I miss her already!! <3 <3
The first day I was there, her hubby took me around a bit to hang out at his friend's tattoo shop. I did my very first dab! Huzzah! So that was pretty rad.
Then my friend Haley picked me up (She is on the site but I can't seem to tag her! She's @haleysnuffleupogus on Instagram though :) Her and her bf picked me up and we went to this really beautiful Graveyard! Then we went to this really cool haunted house/dessert and coffee/tea ! It was really neat, and I had a great time seeing them both again!
Here is this thing that I made :3
WAFFFFFLESSSS- The special wittle pug <3
Bently <3333
They were really sweet and super rad to hang out with. We also shot with @kismit_ . She is such a little hottie!
Isn't she beautiful?!
THEN WE WENT FOR TACOS! I've never gone for tacos before, and this vegan taco was the best thing I've ever eaten omgggg. It was seriously amazing. It probably helped that Kismit got me super ripped before hand, hahaha. That girl is amazing! We hung out after tacos and went for a really nice nature walk and smoked some more. I didn't realize it before but there are so many funny words I say that aren't said around there. One that Kismit brought up was I kept saying, "Bong hoot" but they call it a "rip" or a "hit" so she thought I was adorably Canadian. Hahaha- I seriously can't wait for all of these lovely ladies to come and see me in Canada! I can take them to the vapour lounge, Amsterdam Cafe, and get 'em some maple syrup.
That night, Toxic and her hubby and I went to Wunderland! A huge arcade place. We played so many awesome games! Toxic won a buttload of tickets and got me this cute little fan <3 I also won a little duck wearing a cupcake hat haha. We went for some late night tea and treats after that. I'm so obsessed with chai tea latte's now..Mmm...
The next day we woke up and went out to see some vintage stores along Hawthorn, and to the Saturday (on Sunday) market. I got some cute little things for my Mom for her birthday. We also went to this amazing breakfast place- The food in Portland is amazing. I ate so much and paid so little! FOOOOOD!
Then I got to the airport, and came home, and went to my parents house. Liam was waiting for me at the airport with flowers <3 He was so happy. Then today I had a super shitty doctor's appointment that went...Just...Fuck that guy. That's all I have to say about that.
But I'm home now! After an incredible adventure! Sitting in my apartment drinking some tea and thinking about all the wonderful things to come...
ALWAYS FRESH, BUD. Timmy's is my lover <3
.........
And here is this. I'm so blown away by the photos in this set, and am super happy that Darryl posted this preview so fast! He was a pleasure to work and hang out with, and incredibly talented as well! I showed it to my Mom and she said, "Is that my daughter?!?! You're so beautiful!" haha. She loved it! And I hope you guys do too.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this trip so special to me <3 It was my first over-the-border SG experience, and it was so much more than I ever thought it would be! I'm elated.
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
