Okay so I made this because summer is coming up and I LOVE headbands and making jewelry. I've been making and selling jewelry at festivals since I was little! My Mom always taught us different crafts and it was wonderful.
I've seen some other girls doing them, so before you toot the, "COPY CAT!" horn I'll stop you right there and say that taking inspiration and creating for yourself is how you grow and learn and I don't think there's anything wrong with that. As long as you're not pretending like it's all your original idea...I dunno. I find some people get very upitty about stuff like that!
This is the complete set! I took the old padding and underwire from a bra I had laying around. I used 4 underwires in total, and created a figure 8 and attached elastic around them all. Then I sewed on the padding, trimmed it, added the under elastic, and sewed on the outer fabric. I did this neat little twist in the middle that ended up looking very nice! I'm adding a bow and a little pink heart to it tonight to hide a few of the stitches and finish off the middle.
I added extra padding on the inside bottom so it pushes my boobs together! Then I added a harness around the main bra part to hold the ladies up! I'm so STOKED on how it turned out! I've never made or attempted to make a bra like this before! I'm excited! Especially because I don't work with patterns or anything.
I got my nails done by this super rad girl today! I haven't had them done in a really long time, and my Mom's an esthetician so I'm VERY picky. I also worked in spas for a long time so I'm particular with health procedures. (Am I a nightmare, or what? Hahaha)
But these look AWESOME. And most people who have done my nails have knicked me or filed my skin but she was really gentle. She even put the Tetrad from my tattoo on the middle fingers! How cool is that?!?!
